Is Secondwind medical advice?

No. Secondwind is a general fitness and wellness app. Stop if pain or symptoms are sudden, severe, worsening or concerning, and seek qualified care. Call your local emergency number in an emergency: 000 in Australia, 112 across the EU and UK, or 911 in the US.

Do I need an account?

Sign in with Apple is required before purchase or restore and for custom Coach questions. Your programme and workout history stay on this phone. Read the privacy policy for the exact data flow.

What does the Day Dial change?

As planned follows the planned session. Lighter today reduces load and accessory volume. More support reduces load further, adds rest and prepares joint-friendlier options. Each choice still counts as completing the session.

What if an exercise does not suit me today?

Open Swap on the exercise card and choose one of the programme's available alternatives. Keep movement comfortable. For persistent or concerning pain, speak with a qualified professional.

What happens on the pre-exercise safety screen?

The screen asks the six red-flag questions and your weighted weekly activity band from Stage 1 of the AUSactive Adult Pre-Exercise Screening System. If you answer Yes to any red-flag question, Secondwind asks you to check with your GP or an appropriate allied health professional before starting. You can continue setup only after acknowledging that guidance. The screen is not a diagnosis and does not guarantee that exercise is safe.

How does Find a pro nearby work?

Choose Physiotherapist, Exercise physiologist or Personal trainer in Coach or Settings. Secondwind opens that search in Apple Maps. Secondwind does not request your location, vet the listings or endorse a provider.

Why do the starting weights feel conservative?

Week 1 is the starting point, not a maximum-strength test. The programme uses completed sets and your Easy, Right or Too much feedback to adjust future targets.

Does Coach work offline?

The six built-in quick answers work offline. A custom question needs an internet connection, Sign in with Apple and an active subscription. The shared allowance is 20 requests per subscription each day. Coach is automated and does not provide medical advice.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open Settings and choose Restore purchases. Sign in with Apple is required before restore. Make sure the iPhone is signed in to the Apple ID that made the purchase. If the subscription still does not appear, email support.

How do I cancel or manage a subscription?

Open Secondwind Settings, choose Manage subscription, then Continue to cancel. Secondwind opens Apple's subscription management directly. Cancelling stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How does the renewal reminder work?

With notification permission, Secondwind can schedule a local reminder three days before an annual renewal or two days before a monthly renewal. Apple remains the source of truth for billing and renewal dates.

How do I use Apple Health sync?

Turn on Sync to Apple Health in Settings and approve workout write access. Completed sessions are saved as functional strength workouts. Existing Health records are managed in Apple's Health app.

How do I export or delete my data?

Open Settings, then use Export my data for a JSON copy or Delete account and all data to remove Secondwind's local programme, sessions, settings, Coach history and reminders. If your subscription is paused, both controls remain available on that screen. If you use a linked service account, deletion also removes that account and linked Kovus service records. Apple Health workouts and Apple or RevenueCat purchase records are separate.

The app is not sending reminders

Check Settings in Secondwind and the iPhone's Notifications settings. Reminders are local and will not be delivered if permission is off.
