/ Why Kovus exists

Local-service websitesneed more thana good-looking home page.

Customers often compare several local businesses on a phone before they call. Kovus gives them a fast page, clear proof and an obvious next step, while giving the business a search foundation it can measure and improve.

/ What Kovus actually is

A productised growth system
for local-service businesses.

Five layers cover local SEO, the enquiry path, AI readability, content and tracking. The one-off build is scoped and quoted to the business. Any ongoing services are optional and quoted separately. The website is the front door. The value is everything sitting behind it.

/ 01

Use a repeatable core.

The technical foundation and QA process stay consistent. The pages, integrations, content and monthly work are then scoped to the client's real services, service areas and priorities.

/ 02

Built once. Yours to keep.

The build is a quote-scoped one-off project. Optional ongoing services are month-to-month with no minimum term. The client may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid month.

/ 03

Owned by the client, not me.

The client owns the website, content, domain and source code. Agreed ongoing services stop after cancellation takes effect, but the assets the client owns remain theirs. There is no platform lock-in.

/ 04

Specialist, not generalist.

I build for a defined set of local-service niches and local retail. That keeps the work focused on the actual buying questions, proof and customer journey in each market.

/ 05

Plain English. No jargon.

The monthly scope and report use agreed measures: work shipped, enquiries recorded, search data available and the next actions. Results are separated from deliverables so you can see what changed.

/ Side by side

How Kovus is different.

Kovus combines a website with clearly scoped search, content, monitoring and reporting work. The commercial structure and deliverables are written down before work starts.

/ Why one system fits both

A pool crew and a roofing crew share more than they differ.

A pool tech, a render crew, and a roofer have different proof, services and buying questions. They still need clear local search information, a usable phone journey and enough verified detail for a customer to decide whether to call. The core process is repeatable, while the scope and content are set for each client.

/ The human behind it

Built solo. By design.

Owner / builder · Perth, Western Australia

Josh runs Kovus from Perth and designs and builds each client site himself.

Solo means the person who scopes the work is the person who builds it and reports on it. Capacity and delivery dates are confirmed in the quote rather than promised before the scope is known.

/ The next step

Want to see the system in your business?

We review your current site, the services you want to prioritise and the proof you can publish. I explain what I would change, what I would measure and what would be included in a written scope. There is no obligation to proceed.

The client owns the website, content, domain and source code. Optional ongoing services are month-to-month with no minimum term. The client may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid month.
