What we collect
When you fill in a form on kovus.dev, we collect: name, email, phone, business name, business type, current monthly leads (optional), your message, your IP address, and the timestamp of submission.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry and, with your express consent, to send you commercial information about Kovus's services. We do not sell your information.
Who processes your information
The processors below handle the data needed to run this site, the contact form, and payments. We do not sell your information. Formspree, Stripe, Resend, Google and Cloudflare may store this data outside Australia.
Formspree receives each contact-form submission so Josh can reply. It receives your name, email, phone, business name, business type, current monthly leads (if you gave them) and your message, plus a subject line built from the business name and type.
Stripe processes payments when you pay through a Stripe Checkout payment link. Stripe receives the payment and contact details you enter on Stripe's checkout page. A signed webhook then sends Kovus the event type, amount, and the customer name and email from that checkout.
Resend sends the transactional email generated by that Stripe webhook. It receives the notification subject and body, which include customer name, email, amount, and payment status from the Stripe event.
Google provides Google Analytics, described under Cookies and analytics below.
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes standard request logs (IP address, user agent, request path) to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and report network errors.
The website address you enter in the free website check is fetched once to run the check and is not stored in a database or log; the result is kept in Cloudflare's cache for up to 6 hours so a repeat check of the same address does not fetch the site again.
Spam Act 2003 compliance
Marketing communications are sent only with your express consent (opt-in checkbox at submission). Every marketing email carries a working unsubscribe link, and you can reply UNSUBSCRIBE or STOP to any message at any time. We action unsubscribes within 5 business days.

Kovus complies with the Australian Privacy Principles. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing josh@kovus.dev.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, and your approximate location. It also records when you tap a phone number or email address, open the quote form, start filling it in, hit an error or send it, but not what you type into it. When you run the free website check, it records the trade you picked and how many items passed, but not the website address. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (their names start with _ga) to tell one visit from the next. You can block them in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on, and the site works the same without them.
Cloudflare (our hosting and CDN provider) processes standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, request path) to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and report network errors. Cloudflare Web Analytics also records page views and how quickly each page loads, without cookies, local storage or fingerprinting. No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking.
