Probuild Construction Co: from Instagram and Facebook to a 35-page Hunter carpentry site

An owner-operated Cessnock carpentry and construction business with Instagram and Facebook but no standalone website went live at probuildco.com.au with a 35-page site: five service pages, 14 suburb pages across the Hunter, four project pages from real jobs, three guides and a 3D timber-frame hero.

// what the build includes

Everything the build ships with.

What went live for Probuild Construction Co, from the page set to the proof on it.

  1. 01

Went from an Instagram account and a Facebook page, with no standalone website, to a live domain at probuildco.com.au carrying 35 pages in its sitemap.

  2. 02

Five service pages split by the work Ewan actually does: decks and outdoor living, custom carpentry, structural timber and posts, new builds and farmhouse work, and patio covers and insulated roofs.

  3. 03

14 individual suburb pages from Cessnock across the Hunter to Newcastle, including Pokolbin, Kurri Kurri, Kearsley, East Maitland and Branxton, rather than one list of towns.

  4. 04

Four project pages built around real jobs, led by three decks in Kurri Kurri with ekodeck boards, a Versiclad insulated roof and Miami stainless balustrade.

  5. 05

Three guides answering questions homeowners ask before the work starts: what to know before a deck, timber framing and AS 1684, and removing a load-bearing wall.

  6. 06

The NSW contractor licence 459690C and the ABN published on the site and in its structured data.

The business

Probuild Construction Co is Ewan’s owner-operated carpentry and construction business, based in Cessnock and working across the Hunter and Newcastle region. The work runs from decks, cable-railing outdoor rooms and insulated patio roofs to hardwood posts, architraves, door jambs and carpentry on new homes and farmhouse projects. The positioning is simple and the site says it on the homepage: the person who quotes the job is the person on the tools.

What they had before

No standalone website. The business had an Instagram account and a Facebook page, and the domain that matches the business name redirected to Facebook. A homeowner in Kurri Kurri or Pokolbin searching for a deck builder or a finishing carpenter had no Probuild page to land on, no service detail to read and no suburb page to confirm the business worked in their area.

The trust facts existed but were not published anywhere a customer would see them. Before launch, the NSW contractor licence was checked as current on the public Verify NSW register and the ABN was checked on the Australian Business Register, so both could go on the site as verified facts rather than claims.

What we built

A 35-page site at probuildco.com.au, structured around the three things a homeowner decides on: what kind of job it is, whether the business covers their suburb, and whether they can trust the person quoting it.

Five service pages split the trade by the work itself: decks and outdoor living, custom carpentry, structural timber and posts, new builds and farmhouse work, and patio covers and insulated roofs. Fourteen suburb pages cover Cessnock, Pokolbin, Kurri Kurri, Kearsley, Maitland, Nulkaba, Bellbird, Aberdare, Abermain, Weston, Lovedale, East Maitland, Branxton and Newcastle, each as its own page instead of a line in the footer.

Four project pages carry real job photography, led by three decks in Kurri Kurri built with ekodeck boards, a Versiclad insulated roof tied into the eaves and a Miami stainless cable balustrade. Naming the materials and the suburb on each project is the approach the carpentry websites page sets out, and the page-per-project structure is what the construction websites page describes for builders. Three guides cover what to know before a deck, timber framing and AS 1684, and removing a load-bearing wall. There is no rate card. The pricing page explains that height, cover, access and timber all move the number, so every job is quoted on site.

The homepage opens on a 3D timber-frame house that assembles member by member as the visitor scrolls, which ties the headline, built from the frame up, to the trade itself. Under the design, the licence number and ABN appear on the page and in the structured data, which also lists the 14 service areas and the site’s FAQs.

Where it stands

The site is live at probuildco.com.au. Rankings, enquiries and search visibility are measured from launch against a baseline of zero. The monthly search work a builder’s site can add after launch is set out on the SEO for builders page.
