The business
Mandurah Roofing Services is the trading name Shane Bradley Challis uses for roof tile work around Mandurah, WA. The work covers anything roof tile: tile repairs, ridge capping, valleys and secret trays, leaks and waterproofing, roof alterations and removals, cleaning and maintenance, restorations and major works, inspections and reporting, new roofs and additions, and roof tile sales. The business does not paint roofs. It is based in Mandurah, the area on Kovus’s web design in Mandurah page, and works from Rockingham and Baldivis down to Dawesville and across to Pinjarra.
What they had before
No website. The business had a Facebook page and an Instagram account where Shane posted finished jobs, and the bio summed it up as “The Roof Tile Specialists”. Someone in Halls Head with a stain on the ceiling after rain had no page to read about leak repairs and no list of the suburbs the business covers.
What we built
A 54-page site at mandurahroofingservices.com.au, built around one idea from Shane’s own posts: where the drip shows inside is rarely where the water got in. One of his jobs traced a leak at the ridge that ran along steel rafters and showed up in a wardrobe four metres away. The homepage follows that path. A full-bleed hero video opens on the roof, then the scenes move from the damage inside, to the failed detail on the roof, to the fixed ridge, with the line “Scroll to follow the leak”.
Ten service pages, eight of them built on the headings Shane uses for his work and two for new roofs and roof tile sales, so each page matches what a homeowner searches when something goes wrong, from broken tile repairs to ridge capping and repointing. Four of them carry Shane’s own reels, each with a pause button. The page on roofing website design explains why that split by job matters.
Nineteen area pages cover the City of Mandurah, the coast down to Dawesville and the inland run to Pinjarra and South Yunderup, plus Rockingham and Baldivis to the north. Eleven job stories come straight from the business’s posts. Each one quotes Shane, names the job type, describes what the photos show, and links back to the original Instagram post, so the proof can be checked.
Five guides answer the questions behind most roof tile calls in the area, from a roof leak after rain to repointing versus rebedding and whether to repair or reroof. The pricing page explains what changes the price, from access and roof pitch to the extent of the damage, and lists what to send for a quote: the suburb, where the problem shows and when it started.
Under the design, the type matches the logo lettering, and structured data that describes the business as a roofing contractor, with its FAQs and ABN, runs through the site.
Where it stands
The site went live on mandurahroofingservices.com.au on 24 September 2026, and the original Vercel address redirects there. Search Console is verified for the domain, the 54-page sitemap is published, and Google Analytics was switched on with a privacy note on 29 September. Ranking the service and area pages over time is the ongoing work described on the SEO for roofers page.
