Privacy policy
Your practice stays yours.
Effective 13 July 2026
Your passages, reflections, journal history and streak data are stored on your device. Priscana does not sell personal information or use advertising trackers.
Who we are
Priscana is developed by Josh Waller, trading as Kovus, in Perth, Western Australia. For privacy questions or requests, email josh@kovus.dev.
Information stored on your device
- Your written reflections and journal history.
- Your streak, freezes, completed practice days and app preferences.
- Your reminder time, onboarding progress and selected traditions.
- A limited passage and streak snapshot shared with the Priscana home-screen widget through Apple’s App Group storage.
Deleting Priscana removes this local app data, subject to Apple’s device and backup behaviour.
Product analytics
Priscana may use TelemetryDeck to understand broad product usage, such as whether onboarding was completed or a feature was opened. Analytics use a random installation or session identifier. They do not include your name, email address, advertising identifier, passage text or reflection text.
Subscriptions and payments
Purchases are processed by Apple. RevenueCat may receive purchase status, product identifiers, transaction information and a random app user identifier so Priscana can recognise premium access and restore purchases. Kovus does not receive your card or bank details.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use your information for cross-app advertising or tracking.
- We do not upload or analyse your private reflection text.
- We do not require an account, name or email address to use the app.
Children
Priscana is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and contact
You can disable notifications in iOS Settings and manage subscriptions through your Apple ID. You can remove local practice data by deleting the app. For questions or a deletion request concerning support correspondence or service records, email josh@kovus.dev. Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records as required for billing, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
