Priscana is deliberately small. The app does not turn reflection into a feed, a public profile or a performance score. The daily passage remains consistent for the local calendar day, so reopening the app does not let you shop for a different answer.

Private by default
Reflections, journal history and practice progress remain on your device. Priscana does not require a Kovus account and does not use reflection text for analytics. Purchases, if used, are processed through Apple.

Priscana questions
What is Priscana?
Priscana is a private daily-reflection app for iPhone. It presents one passage from selected public-domain philosophical and Hermetic texts, gives you space to write, and records the days you return.
How is the daily passage chosen?
Priscana uses the local calendar date and your selected tradition preferences. Reopening the app on the same local day returns the same passage rather than drawing a different one.
Where are Priscana reflections stored?
Passages, reflections, journal history and practice progress stay on the iPhone. Reflection text is not sent through product analytics.
Does Priscana require an account?
No. Priscana does not require a Kovus account, name or email address. The app has no advertising or cross-app tracking.
