How it works

PhysiqueProof has four parts, in the order you will meet them: Journal, Compare, Trends and Ask.

1. Journal: your photo record

   The guided camera takes you through up to six poses: front, front flexed, left side, right side, back and legs. Pose guides help you line up, a private pose check runs on your iPhone, and the camera can show your last photo of the same pose as an overlay you can dim or turn off. Journal files every check-in by year and quarter, with an optional note and weight.

   Already have progress photos? Find older photos looks through the photos you allow on this iPhone and suggests likely progress photos. Nothing is added to Journal until you pick the photos and add them.

   Journal can also make a reel: a short video built on your iPhone from photos of one pose taken on different days, with the date and any check-in weight from that day on each frame.

2. Compare: two dates, side by side

   Choose a pose and two dates. Before it shows the photos, Compare rates the pair as a strong, usable or weak match and lists any check that needs a retake. Then it shows the two photos side by side, each labelled with its date.

   From there you can share the pair as a progress card, with optional face blur done on your iPhone.

3. Trends: what your records show

   Trends has three cards in a fixed order: Weight, Training and Check-ins, over 7 days, 30 days, a quarter or 180 days. Weight comes from your check-ins, weights you enter or Apple Health. Training comes from Hevy or Apple Health workouts. Each card shows its source, how many readings it covers and how recent they are. When there is not enough data, the card says so.

4. Ask: questions about your own records

   Ask is an optional online feature. Type a question, then switch on only the records that help answer it: Journal, Weight, Training from Hevy or your Compare history. Each answer shows the sources it used. With every source off, Ask answers in general terms. Photos never go into Ask; to look at two photos, use Compare.

Privacy and control

Original progress photos, Journal and full Ask conversations stay on your iPhone. Apple Health and Hevy are optional. Apple Health access covers only body mass, body fat percentage, lean body mass, waist circumference and workouts. Those readings appear in Trends and are never sent to Ask. PhysiqueProof writes body mass to Apple Health only when you choose that for an entry.

Online features use Google Gemini and are off until you allow them. Before the first request, the app names Google Gemini, asks you to confirm you are 18 or older and asks permission for each kind of sharing. Ask sends your question, recent messages from that conversation and only the sources you switch on. A Compare review of a pair uses reduced, metadata-stripped copies of photos from that pair, and those copies are removed after processing. You can withdraw permission in Settings at any time.

You can also lock the app with Face ID, export your photos and records, or delete your account and local data from Settings.

PhysiqueProof Pro

PhysiqueProof Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, and you need it to use the app after setup. There is no free tier. Plans, prices and renewal terms are shown in the app before you buy. Buying or restoring Pro uses Sign in with Apple, and Apple handles billing and cancellation through your Apple Account.

Without an active subscription, you can still open Settings from the paywall to export or delete your data.

Who PhysiqueProof is for

Adults keeping a record of their own training. PhysiqueProof shows your photos and the numbers you log or connect, so you can judge the change yourself. It does not work out body fat or other measurements from photos, score how you look or give medical advice.
