Is NurseLock clinical guidance?
No. NurseLock is study practice for the NCLEX-RN. The bundled question set is educational study material. It is not clinical guidance, not medical advice and not a guarantee of exam results.
How do I set up Screen Time authorisation?
NurseLock uses individual authorisation on your own iPhone. iOS asks for it in-app. Approve the request when iOS presents it so NurseLock can schedule and lift its own Screen Time restriction. You choose which apps or app categories to block. Blocking is free and never depends on a purchase.
Blocking did not lift after I finished a drill
Open NurseLock so it can refresh the restriction. If the block is still in place, use the Recovery screen to turn blocking off or remove all restrictions. You can also do that from Settings at any time.
How do I change the reset time and blocking days?
You choose which days are blocking days, and you choose the study-day reset time. The default reset time is 4:00 AM local time. Change both in Settings. Completing a drill lifts the block until the next study-day start.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings and choose Restore purchases, or use Restore purchases on the paywall. Make sure the iPhone is signed in to the Apple ID that made the purchase. If the purchase still does not appear, email support.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Cancel through Apple's subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple. The lifetime purchase is a one-time buy and does not renew.
How do I export or restore a backup?
Open Settings and use Export backup for a file with review history, personal notes and supported preferences. You keep that file wherever you save it. Use Restore backup to load a backup file back into the app.
How do I delete all data?
Open Settings and choose Delete all data. That first removes NurseLock's blocking, then deletes the local database and app-owned copies on the device. Purchases stay with Apple and can be restored.
What should I do before I delete the app?
Remove restrictions first from the Recovery screen so the block does not linger, then delete the app. Deleting the app removes local data. If NurseLock is already deleted and a block remains, review Screen Time access for NurseLock in iPhone Settings and restart the iPhone.
